We are seeking experienced and dedicated Lecturer of Sport who can teach and inspire students on football and sport-related courses to achieve outstanding results. This role includes delivering high-quality teaching, providing tutorials and pastoral support, carrying out administrative duties and outreach work, as well as organising football-related trips, fixtures, and development visits.
You will act as a personal tutor, monitoring, guiding, and recording the progress of a group of learners, ensuring they achieve both academically and in their football development.
You will be working within a highly successful Sport Department, with access to excellent facilities including classrooms, performance analysis suites, fitness gyms, and 4G training pitches.
The College offers a range of qualifications from Level 1 Sport through to HND Sport and Exercise Science, with a strong performance and development pathway in Football, alongside our recognised programmes in Rugby and Leadership in Sport.
We have strong partnerships with local football clubs and professional organisations, providing outstanding work experience opportunities to prepare our students to become successful players, coaches, analysts, and leaders within the football industry.
The successful candidate will have:
A proven track record of delivering excellent results.
Experience in coaching or delivering football-specific sessions.
The ability to offer a range of practical football activities, both as part of the curriculum and to enhance the student experience through enrichment and competitive fixtures.
