Details:We are looking for a chef lecturer to join our team. The role will involve teaching learners professional cooking skills, associated theory and tutorial lessons. You should have the ability to inspire learners to achieve high level skills and to develop wider knowledge such as employability, Maths and English.

The teaching will be at a range of levels so the ability to provide activities to entry and level 1 learners will be required. Skills and or qualifications in patisserie and bakery would be an advantage

The Gas Centre Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the Gas Assessment/Training workshop. This post will be required to work with a team in the development of training programmes leading to vocational skills and take responsibility, as required, for the supervision of student learning in any part of the Faculty’s operation.

The Chaplaincy role is an innovative partnership between Wigan & Leigh College and Liverpool Diocese as part of the Transforming Wigan Project.

‘Transforming Wigan’ is a 7 year project by the Church of England concentrating the Diocesan growth agenda in the strategically most vulnerable part of the Diocese, seeking to revive it as a key focus for the mission of the Church into the future.

The role at the College is an open (ecumenical) Chaplaincy flowing out of the Christian tradition which welcomes all faiths and none, regardless of their background or status, to live richer, more fulfilled and transforming lives.
